Rathbarry run continues with Family victory

A STUNNING weekend for Ireland's Rathbarry Stud continued with the Group 2 Prix Robert Papin success of Family One, a son of  Dubai Destination.

The son of Kingmambo, winner of the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes, stands at Rathbarry's national hunt satellite, Glenview Stud, alongside Presenting and Robin Des Champs for a fee of €3,500. That is a far cry from the £25,000 he commanded when retiring to Dalham Hall Stud in 2004.

Rathbarry also stands leading two-year-old sire Acclamation, who completed a stakes race Ascot double on Saturday with Angels Will Fall and Talwar.

Home-bred by Ecurie Ascot, Family One was conceived at a fee of £15,000 and is out of Ascot Family, winner of a French provincial Listed race and a half-sister to the popular Tim Easterby-trained Flanders.

See the results section in tomorrow's  Racing Post for Bloodstock Analysis for Family One, Eugene Adam winner Pisco Sour, and Grosser Preis Von Berlin winner Danedream.
