Stephanie's Kitten: Breeders' Cup winner is a star daughter of Kitten's Joy

Kitten's Joy stud fee doubled to $50,000

KENNETH and Sarah Ramsey have doubled the fee for their star stallion Kitten's Joy from $25,000 to $50,000 for 2012.

The Ramseys have strongly supported the stallion career of Kitten's Joy, who they bred, raced and stand at their Ramsey Farm in Kentucky.

They have bred all of the stallion's six Graded stakes winners, including Friday's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf winner Stephanie's Kitten.

The other highlights of his first three crops to race are the
Grade 1-placed Banned and Dean's Kitten.

Kitten's Joy won theGrade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic and Secretariat Stakes for trainer Dale Romans.

He is by the Sadler's Wells stallion El Prado and is a half-brother to triple Grade 1 winner Precious Kitten andto the dam of US champion juvenile filly Dreaming Of Anna.
