Dancing Forever sold to stand at stud in India

AMERICAN Grade 1 turf performer Dancing Forever has been sold and will stand in India. He joins Nirmal Ruia's Hazara Stud near New Delhi.

The seven-year-old was one of the leading US turf horses of 2008, when he landed the Grade 1 Manhattan Handicap and ran third in theBreeders' Cup Turf behind Conduit and Eagle Mountain.

That year he was also placed in the Grade 1 Gulfstream Park Turf Stakes and won the Fifth Third Elkhorn Stakes, a Grade 2 event. His career record reads 24 starts, five wins and earnings of $915,000.

Dancing Forever is a son of Rahy out of Dancinginmydreams, by Seeking The Gold. Dancinginmydreams' best effort came when beaten a neck into second in the Matron Stakes, a Grade 1 dirt race for juvenile fillies over 1m.

Her maternal grand-dam is Blitey, a significant producer for the Phipps Stable, who bred and owned Dancing Forever.
