Queensland floods delay Magic Millions sale
AUSTRALIAN sale house Magic Millions has put back its Central Queensland yearling sale to give the venue at Rockhampton showgrounds time to recover from the flooding that recently hit the state.
The auction - which features around 110 yearlings - will now take place on May 6 instead of its original scheduled date in April.
Magic Millions reached an agreement with the Central Queensland Thoroughbred Breeders Association to conduct the sale late last year.
The yearling sale was first held at Rockhampton by Australian Estates Company Ltd in the 1970s.
Catalogues for the sale will be available from March 11.
