Classic Fiddle: the first of Fiddling The Facts' progeny won seven races

Fiddling The Facts gelding a debut winner

MASTER FIDDLE, a strapping son of high-class racemare Fiddling The Facts, was the impressive winner of the bumper at Market Rasen today.

The chestnut five-year-old is a son of Shade Oak's Alflora. Henderson has been in superlative form in recent bumpers, having won the Towcester bumper yesterday with Problema Tic and at Newbury on Saturday with Kid Cassidy.

If Master Fiddle follows in the footsteps of his two younger half-siblings, the Classic Cliché mare Classic Fiddle and Fiddling Again, a daughter of Hernando, he will follow up under a penalty.

Classic Fiddle went on to win five races over hurdles and fences, although Fiddling Again, who contested the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival, failed to win over obstacles.
