Saint-Cloud double from Vatori first crop

HARAS DE VICTOT sire Vatori produced twowinners on Monday's card at Saint-Cloud, with Parkori and Prince Verde both scoring in 1m contests for three-year-olds.

The pair are from the first crop of the son of Vettori, who is out of a mare by Highest Honor. Two of Vatori's three wins came at Saint-Cloud, in a 1m Group 3 as a juvenile and a 1m2f Group 2 the following year.

His brother, Hightori, won a Prix Foy and was placed at the top level four times, including when a short-head second to Observatory in the Prix d'Ispahan and he was third behind Galileo in the King George. He never stood as a stallion in France. Their sister, Higha, was Listed-placed as a juvenile.

Their unraced dam, High Mecene, is closely related to successful French sire Kendor. Prince Verde won a race at Compeigne earlier this month, while Parkori became the fourth winner by his sire. Vatori stands at a fee of €1,500.
