Presenting popular again at Tattersalls Ireland

THE EARLY pace during the final session of foals at the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt sale was set by a Presenting colt from Marston Stud who cost Michael Tallon €26,000.

He is a half-brother to two winners out of a Jolly Jake half-sister to Ryanair Chase scorer Thisthatandtother and another high-class Paul Nicholls inmate in The Tother One.

“I thought he was one of the best foal here today and he’s by a top sire from a very good family. He’ll be coming back here to the Derby Sale in a few years. I’ve bought him in partnership with an English client,” reported Tallon.

Soon before, Mid Bloodstock went to €25,000 for a Presenting colt from Rheindross Stud. He is out of the Listed-placed chaser Supreme Touch from a family that goes back to the great Dawn Run.

Elsewhere, a representative of another elite jumps stallion, Flemensfirth, cost Windy Mill Farm €24,000.

The Grange Stud-consigned colt is out of a five-times winning daughter of Strong Gale who is a half-sister to the high class pair of Mass Appeal and Commercial Artist.
