Pipedreamer: the son of Selkirk landed a gamble in the CambridgeshirePICTURE: Martin Lynch
Pipedreamer entered in Tattersalls February Sale
DUAL Group 2 winner Pipedreamer has been catalogued to sell at next month's Tattersalls February sale.
Chris Richardson, racing manager for the Pipedreamer's owners Cheveley Park Stud, told the Racing Post earlier this month that the six-year-old had run his last race and that stud offers from abroad were under consideration.
Pipedreamer, a son of Selkirk out of the Gone West mare Follow A Dream, made a rapid progression through the handicap ranks and landed a gamble in the Cambridgeshire in 2007.
In the following season he won the Group 2 York Stakes and finished third to Duke Of Marmalade in the Prince of Wales's Stakes, while last year he landed the Group 2 Prix Dollar at Longchamp and signed off his career by finishing fourth, beaten only two lengths behind Twice Over, in the Champion Stakes.
Pipedreamer is the sole entry from his consignors Cheveley Park Stud in the catalogue.
South African Group 2 winner Bound By Honour and last season's Group 3 Meld Stakes heroine She's Our Mark are other notable names among the 289 horses in the catalogue, which is available to view at tattersalls.com.
