Sir Percy's first winner runs in Group 3 at Baden-Baden

SIR PERCY's very first runner and winner, Percy Jackson who won at Bath on his racecourse debut in May, runs in his first Group race today, the Zukunfts-Rennen at Baden-Baden.

The colt, who is trained by Dennis Coakley, has now run four times and has yet to finish out of the three - after his debut success he finished third in a novice event at Chepstow, won a novice auction stakes over 7f at Warwick before coming home second in a Listed event at Cologne on July 24.

Sir Percy has had just 17 runners, but six are winners, with Percy Jackson the sole dual winner to date. Success in Baden-Baden would give the Lanwades Stud Derby-winning stallion a first stakes victory.

The sire  has one lot catalogued in the Baden-Baden September YearlingSale.
