Listed winner Gifts Tobougg a boost

SPEEDY juvenile filly Penny's Gift gave a timely reminder of her sire Tobougg's ability on Friday, in theweek it was announced that he would move from Darley to East Burrow Farm and be marketed as a dual-purpose stallion.

Penny's Gift was the impressive winner of the 6f Listed Bosra Sham Fillies Stakes at Newmarket.

In a typically busy season for a Richard Hannon-trained two-year-old, she has also finished runner-up in the Albany Stakes and the Lowther Stakes, and has won the valuable Watership Down Sales race.

Out of Happy Lady, a moderate runner and a half-sister to two minor winners, she was purchased by Ross Doyle for 10,000gns at the Doncaster St. Leger yearling sale in 2007.
