Ballabriggs brings up double for Presenting

THURSDAY'S action at Cheltenham ended with Irish-breds holding sway over their French counterparts by ten winners to six.

Ballabriggs' tight victory over Faasel in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Challenge Cup represented a second Festival success for reigning champion jumps sire Presenting following Weapon's Amnesty's win in yesterday's RSA Chase.

Bred by Mrs S. L. Jackson, he is a brother to the talented Irish chaser Letterman, who ran second in the Nas Na Riogh Novices' Chase in 2007. Further back, this is the family of Hi Cloy, the winner of 13 races for Michael Hourigan including the 2006 John Smith's Melling Chase.
