That discussion will be followed by a debate about the 'Future of European Racing' featuring Horseracing Ireland chairman Denis Brosnan, Racehorse Owners' Association president Paul Dixon and Derek McGrath, chief executive of the European Rugby Cup.

The two-day event, which takes place at Goffs in County Kildare and also features talks on equine nutrition, foal size, and the new speed gene test, starts at 11.00am on Friday.
