Paco Boy - Longchamp - 04.10.2008

The top-class Paco Boy is a DBS Breeze-Up graduate from 2007

DBS Breeze-Up Catalogue now online

THE DBS Breeze-Up Sale catalogue is now available for viewing online, and it numbers 185 entrants, 38 per cent more than last year. The lots will breeze on Tuesday April 20 at Doncaster racecourse with auctioning the day after.

Past graduates of the sale include dual Group 1 winner Paco Boy, last season's L'Abbaye winner Total Gallery, as well as Lady Darshaan and Emerald Commander, both of whom were second in Group 1 races as juveniles and are approaching their classic season.

This year, half-siblings to Grade/Group 1 winners Myboycharlie, The Groom Is Red, Zoftig and Quazar are catalogued, along with progeny of Group 1 winners Kournikova and Millyant.

This sale gives buyers the opportunity to purchase horses that can win a share of the Racing Post Breeze-Up Bonus fund.

Henry Beeby, managing director of DBS, said: "We are proud that the DBS Breeze Up Sales have sold more Breeze-Up Bonus winners than any other sale in 2009 and delighted that vendors have recognised the international appeal of this sale helping to compile a fantastic catalogue for the DBS Breeze-Up Sales 2010.

"This sale has a fine record of success as highlighted by the four Group 1 DBS Breezers that have been winning in 2009 and we are proud that our vendors are able to offer horses that are ready-to-run and provide purchasers with an immediate chance of a return on their investment.

"The focus of the catalogue is early two year old winners to take full advantage of the Breeze-Up Bonus scheme and we are confident that this catalogue will ensure that purchasers are again rewarded with success at all levels during the 2010 Flat season and beyond."
