Pabusar collects a near £20,000 bonus windfall

HAVING failed to find a buyer for his son of Oasis Dream at Book 1 of last year's Tattersalls October Sales, owner-breeder Kevan Watts has reaped the benefits of racing that colt in his own name.

Pabusar, as the gelding is now called, picked up nearly £20,000 for winning the EBF Dallaglio Foundation Maiden Stakes at Goodwood - a first prize of £9,714 and a £10,000 Racing Post Yearling Bonus.

Consigned by Westerlands Stud, Pabusar was led out unsold after bidding stalled at 62,000gns.

He  is out of  Temple Stakes runner-up Autumn Pearl, a daughter of Orpen whose own dam, Cyclone Flyer, is a half-sister to the Listed winning sprinter Mariinsky
