Pendley Farm dispersal complete at Tatts

Follow Nancy Sexton's live blog from the Tattersalls December breeding stock sale

THE dispersal of Peter Harris's Pendley Farm was brought to a close at the Tattersalls December mares sale, when the six-year-old Hanging On sold for 12,500gns to Oliver St Lawrence. She took the draft's total turnover to nearly 2 million guineas for 43 horses sold.

Harris entered racehorse ownership in 1972 and following the purchases of foundation mares Connaught Bridge and Sing Softly, went on to breed horses such as 1999 Middle Park Stakes winner Primo Valentino (whom he also trained), Grade 1-placed Stotsfold and Group 3 winner Leporello. Genesis Green Stud handled the dispersal.
