Jump Start moves to Pennsylvania

JUMP Start will relocate to Pennsylvania for the 2010 season, where he will stand at Ghost Ridge Farms. The ten-year-old son of A.P. Indy, who is currently is serving a southern hemisphere season in Argentina, has stood the entirety of his career up to now at Overbrook Farm in Kentucky.

From four crops of racing age Jump Start has sired 18 stakes winners led byRail Trip, winner of the Grade 1 Hollywood Gold Cup Handicap, and Copper State, a recent third in the Grade 1 Beldame Handicap.

Injury restricted Jump Start, an Overbrook homebred, to one season of racing in which he won two of five starts including the Grade 2 Saratoga Special Stakes.

Jump Start's 2010 fee will be $10,000.
