New Zealand winner for freshman Dubawi

DUBAWI opened his account in the southern hemisphere today when Cellarmaster scored at Otaki in New Zealand. The Kevin Gray-trained colt was sixth on his debut, but came on for the experience and took the 4f race by a length and a half.

Cellarmaster is the eighth foal out of Oenology, who also bred Our Bahare, placed in the Group 1 Victoria Derby at Flemington.

Both the sire and dam of Cellarmaster trace to the mare Pantoufle, who is Dubawi's fifth dam and Oenology's grand-dam.

Dalham Hall Stud resident Dubawi, wh0 has been representedby 31 individual first-crop winners in Europe so far this year, has had his fee increased to £20,000 from £15,000 for 2010.
