Division one of the 5f maiden was won by the Michael Dods-trained Springinmystep, who was purchased for €65,000 from Camas Park Stud by Dwayne Woods on behalf of Andrew Tinkler at last year's Goffs Orby Sale. The son of Footstepsinthesand, bred by Dr D. Harron and a half-brother to the dam of Shaweel, is Tinkler's first bonus winner of the year.

Cheveley Park Stud was the recipient of the second bonus handout of the day when their Ocean Myth took division two of the maiden to become the 17th individual two-year-old winner of the year for Acclamation.

The William Haggas-trained filly stepped up on her debut to easily account for the runner-up Red Shadow, a daughter of Acclamation's sire Royal Applause.

Pinhooked by Catridge Farm Stud for 74,000gns as a foal, she was snapped up by Cheveley Park Stud at the following year's Tattersalls October Sale for 85,000gns. She was bred by Mill House Stud out of the Dr Fong mare Mystery Ocean, a winning half-sisterto Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up Penkenna Princess.
