Unusual Heat to Harris Farms

CALIFORNIA-BASED stallion Unusual Heat, who stood 12 seasons at Old English Rancho, has moved to Harris Farms for the 2011 breedingseason.

The 20-year-old son of Nureyev set the all time California record for progeny earnings in 2008 with over $5.8 million, was again the California earnings champion for 2009 and is currently the leading sire in California in 2010as well as the 3rd leading turf sire in North America.

Unusual Heat is the sire of 27 stakes winners including seven Graded stakes winners, and four Group/Grade 1 winners.

Currently repreenting him on the track areGrade 1 winners The Usual Q.T., Acclamation and Grade 2 winner Pretty Unusual.

Harris Farms is best known for being the birthplace and original home of dual Breeders' Cup Classic hero Tiznow.
