Nunnery Stud releases its covering fees

SHADWELL'S Nunnery Stud in Norfolk has released its stallion fees for next year.

Nayef has been reduced from £12,500 to £9,000 and Mawatheeq has been clipped from £5,000 to £4,000, while Aqlaam stays on £7,000.

Shadwell director Richard Lancaster said: "We still believe that there needs to be a slight adjustment in stallion fees in the middle-end of the market. I think our adjustments reflect this view.

"We will continue the policy of supporting our stallions and much look forward to seeing Aqlaam's first runners in 2013.

"Sakhee will be moving to Yorton Farm in Shropshire, where we feel sure he will be well supported".

Shadwell's 2013 roster also features a number of outlying stallions, including UK-based Sakhee and Haafhd, French-based Muhtathir and Naaqoos, and Italian based Mujahid. Their fees will be announced by their respective stud farms."
