Three Chimneys buys stake in Up In Time

LEADING Kentucky breeding operation Three Chimneys has privately purchased a siginificant interest in British-bred Grade 2 San Clemente Handicap winner Up In Time.

Up In Time, a daughter of Noverre, was bred by bloodstock agent Larry Stratton out of the Inchinor mare Up At Dawn.

Noverre, now standing in India, is by retired Three Chimneys stalwart sire Rahy.

Originally trained in Britain by William Knight, Up In Time won a large-field Newmarket maiden and ran seventh in the Oh So Sharp Stakes at two.

Sold to race for Simon Callaghan in America this year, Up In Time carried Anthony Ramsden’s silks to win last month’s Grade 2 San Clemente Handicap at Del Mar.

Racing for Three Chimneys, Up In Time ran seventh to Summer Soireee in Saturday's Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks.

Three Chimneys Racing purchases fillies from Europe and the US to campaign them in America’s top races before putting them in foal and selling them as broodmare prospects.
