JIMMY STYLES, a son of Inchinor, earned a first black-type win on Saturday at Doncaster, on his 29th racecourse appearance. The seven-year-old was recording his sixth win, all of which have come over 6f.

A 32,000gns buy at the DBS St Leger Yearling sale when bought by his trainer Clive Cox, Jimmy Styles is a half-brother to three sprint winners: Special Gold, Lake Hero and One Lady Owner.

Their dam, Inya Lake by Whittingham, won five of her 15 starts including the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes. She also won at Listed level in the Field Marshal Stakes at Haydock as a three-year-old.

Inchinor's highest-rated son is Notnowcato, who stands at Stanley House Stud for £5,000. His first runners hit the track this season.
