Conduit: the dual Breeders' Cup Turf winner's first foals are on offer

Major Japanese sale attracts 468 entries

THE JAPAN Racing Horse Association has catalogued 240 yearlings and 228 foals for its Select Sale this year.

The yearlings come under the hammer on the island of Hokkaido in Japan on July 11 and the foals go through the ring on the following day.

Top domestic sires represented in the yearling catalogue include Agnes Tachyon, Deep Impact, Heart's Cry, King Kamehameha, Neo Universe and Zenno Rob Roy.

Leading Kentucky sires Elusive Quality and Indian Charlie, and champion Australian sire Redoute's Choice are each represented by one yearling in the catalogue.

The foal sale meanwhile sees two first-crop offspring by dual Breeders' Cup Turf hero Conduit listed, along with single offerings by international sires Awesome Again, Bluegrass Cat, Giant's Causeway, Henrythenavigator, King's Best and Malibu Moon.
