No Risk At All retired to stand at Reboursiere

NO RISK AT ALL, a one-time hope for Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe until a minor leg injury ruled him out of his prep race in the Prix Foy, will begin his stallion career at the Haras de la Reboursiere et de Montaigu in Normandy next year.

No Risk At All will join Archange D'Or, Astronomer Royal, Literato, Martaline and Turtle Bowl on the Reboursiere roster.

Owned and trained by Jean-Paul Gallorini, No Risk At All developed into one of the best French-trained older horses this year.

He won the Listed Prix Isonomy at two and another two Listed contests at three to four, before peaking this year at five to win two Group 3s - La Coupe and the Grand Prix de Vichy - and finish a close third behind Golden Lilac in the Prix d'Ispahan.

No Risk At All's pedigree will hold appeal to jumps breeders, as he is a half-brother to top-class chaser Nickname and Graded-winning hurdlers N'Avoue Jamais and Nom D'Une Pipe by My Risk, the sire of Grade 2-winning hurdler Sire De Grugy.
