New winner for first season sire Three Valleys

ALTHOUGH yet to sire a winner in Britain or Ireland, Three Valleys is making an impression in Italy, where he is the sire of two winners including Sidney Road, the winner of a 5 1/2f event at Siracusa on Saturday.

Three Valleys was represented by first winner on May 17 when Peccato Di Gola won his debut over 6f at San Siro.

A bargain 800gns Tattersalls yearling purchase by Guiseppe Bordonaro, Sidney Road is the fifth winner out of Enclave, an unplaced Woodman half-sister to Acomb Stakes winner Souplesse. She was bred in Britain by Michael Nelmes-Crocker.

Three Valleys was a brilliant, precocious two-year-old for Khalid Abdulla and Roger Charlton, winning the Coventry Stakes by eight lengths. He was also successful in the Grade 2 Del Mar Breeders' Handicap for Bobby Frankel as a four-year-old.

By Diesis, Three Valleys is out the Listed-placed Skiable, a half-sister to Hasili, the dam of five Group/Grade 1 winners as well as leading sire Dansili.

Three Valleys stands at Banstead Manor Stud in Newmarket for £5,000.
