New stakes winner
for King's Best

Ben Marshall Stakes (Listed)

SECRECY stepped up on recent form to run out an emphatic scorer of the Ben Marshall Stakes at Newmarket and become a 41st stakes winner for King's Best.

Nine of those stakes winners have scored this season, among them the Brigadier Gerard Stakes winner and Eclipse Stakes runner-up Workforce and September Stakes hero Modun, who lines up in Tuesday's Melbourne Cup for Godolphin.

King's Best stood the past season at Harasdu Logis in France.

Bred by Whatton Manor Stud and purchased by John Ferguson for 80,000gns as a yearling, Secrecy is a half-brother to three minor winners and out of the Listed-placed Wink. In turn, she is out of a half-sister to theoutstanding broodmare Qui Royalty, whose seven stakes winners are led by champion two-year-old Bakharoff.
