Negligee tops the early trading at Keeneland

Grade 1 winner Negligee easily became the top selling lot so far during the opening session of the Keeneland January mixed sale Monday when she sold for $625,000. Hunter Valley Farm, agent, bought the four-year-old Northern Afleet filly for an undisclosed client.
“She’s a lovely filly, that’s pretty obvious,” said Hunter Valley’s Adrian Regan. “That’s all we can say at the moment. The plan is for her to stay here.”
Negligee won the 2009 Darley Alcibiades at Keeneland and was that year's champion two-year-old filly in Canada. She was offered as a broodmare prospect only by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent.
