Resplendent Glory stud fee reduced 75 per cent

RESPLENDENT GLORY’s owners have reduced his stud fee by 75 per cent for 2011.

The fee has been adjusted from £2,000 to £500, which is payable at covering and will be refundable if the mare is not in foal on October 1. 

Resplendent Glory, a son of Namid out of a winning half-sister to high-class sprinter Funny Valentine, won six races including the Group 3 Laurent Perrier Champagne Sprint Stakes over 5f at Sandown.

He stands at Walton Fields Stud in Leicestershire and his first crop ran last year. It includedthe winner Spyder, whose trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam said "will strengthen up into a nice horse”.  

Resplendent Glory was purchased for stud duties by Vivian Pratt. His fertility is "excellent"and in his first two crops he got over 75 per cent colts.
