First foal out of Pride available in NP syndicate

NP BLOODSTOCK, who campaigned triple Group 1 winner Pride, will race each of their four yearling colts next season through a new venture called 'The Pride Racing Club.'

Among the four colts, all of whom qualify for the lucrative French premiums, is the first foal out of Pride, who is a son of champion sire Galileo. He, as well as the other threeyearlings, will join the stable of Alain de Royer-Dupre, who trained Pride to win the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, Champion Stakes and Cathay Pacific Hong Kong Cup.

Together, the colts have been divided into 40 shares with a total capital value of €1,360,000. Investors are required to pay a one off payment of €34,000 for each share which covers initial purchase, all training costs up to the end of their three-year-old career, insurance and any other costs incurred during that time. NP Bloodstock will retain at least ten shares in the partnership.

Each shareholder will receive a 40th of prize-money and any French owners' premiums while the proceeds of any sale will be divided equally between the partners. NP Bloodstock plan to launch a similar venture in autumn 2010 and priority will be given to shareholders in the first Pride partnership.

As well as Pride's first foal, the partnership also contains an Oratorio half-brother to theListed-placed Bum Bum out of Happy At Last, who is a winning half-sister to Jockey Club Stakes winner Capal Garmon; a son of Medicean out of the Group 3-winning sprinter Seltitude; and a Dalakhani half-brother to Listed winner Gale Force. Out of the Listed winner On Fair Stage, the last-named colt is a grandson of Oaks heroine Fair Salinia and bred on the same cross as Conduit and Chinese White.

Each colt has been examined by a leading Newmarket veterinary clinic.

All of the Pride Racing Club's accounts will be overseen by KMPG.
