Stardom Bound's dam in foal to Unbridled's Song

MY WHITE CORVETTE, the dam of US superstar three-year-old filly Stardom Bound, has been confirmed in foal to Unbridled's Song.

She is boarded at DenaliStud in Kentucky for her owner, celebrity chef Bobby Flay. Barry Weisbord paid $825,000 for the mare on behalf of Flay at last year's Keeneland November breeding stock sale.

Stardom Bound is the fourth foal produced by My White Corvette, an 11-year-old daughter of Tarr Road. She also has a two-year-old colt by Roman Ruler and a yearling filly by Lion Heart, who was bought back by her vendor for $350,000 when offered alongside her dam at Keeneland in November.

My White Corvette did not produce a foal last year.

A daughter of Tapit, Stardom Bound has now won five Grade 1 races in a row. Her most recent victory came on March 7 in the Santa Anita Oaks – which she won by just a nose from Third Dawn.

Unbridled's Song is one of the leading lights of the American stallion ranks, with progeny including last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Midshipman and ill-fated Kentucky Derby runner-up Eight Belles.
