Mr Dinos joins Stowaway at Whytemount Stud

ASCOT Gold Cup winner Mr Dinos will stand this season alongside sire revelation Stowaway at Ronnie O’Neill’s Whytemount Stud in County Kilkenny.

Mr Dinos has stood at Tally Ho Stud since retiring in 2006. He sired his first winner, She’s A Man Eater, in October.

The 12-year-old son of Desert King was trained by Paul Cole to win the Prix Royal-Oak at three and the Henry II Stakes and Ascot Gold Cup in the following season.

His stud fee at Whytemount has been set at €1,000.

His new studmate Stowaway has overcome a lack of numbers to grab the attention of jumps breeders with high-class winners including Hidden Cyclone and Western Leader.

The son of Slip Anchor was among the busiest sires in Europe last year, covering 187 mares.
