Tattersalls sale date for star filly Stacelita

STAR French filly Stacelita has been entered for the Tattersalls December breeding stock sale.

The daughter of Monsun won last year's Prix Saint-Alary, Prix de Diane and Prix Vermeille, and collected her fourth Group 1 in the Prix Jean Romanet in August.

She possesses a top-class pedigree to match her form: she is out of Listed winner Soignee, a sister to Group 2 winner Simoun and to the dam of recent Group 3 Preis der Winterfavoriten scorer Silvaner. Further back it is the family of Steinlen, Super Celebre and Zagreb.

Stacelita forms part of a glittering consignment from European Sales Management that also includes Poule d'Essai des Pouliches heroine Elusive Wave - like Stacelita, owned by Wall Street trader Martin S Schwartz - and dual Group 3 winner Celimene.

The sale, which includes dispersals from Bloomsbury Stud and Peter Harris's breeding operation, takes place from November 29 to December 2.
