Listed success for
Lemon Drop Kid filly

MISCHIEF MAKING earned a deserved first black-type success at Lingfield on Thursday when successful by three-quarters of a length from Samira Gold in the Listed River Eden Fillies' Stakes.

The daughter of Lemon Drop Kid is closely related to Sister Maria, a filly by Kingmambo who scored twice in minor company last year for Cliveden Stud and Ed Dunlop.

Their dam is Cliveden's Grade 1 E P Taylor Stakes and Listed Valiant Stakes heroine Fraulein, a daughter of Acatenango from the high-class German family of Anna Paola, Pozarica and Annus Mirabilis.

Fraulein's minor-winning half-sister, Franglais, has also been in the news this year as the dam of Windsor Castle Stakes winner Flashmans Papers.

Fraulein has a two-year-old colt by El Prado named Moorish, a yearling colt by Seeking The Gold and a colt foal by Arch.
