Milk It Mick transferred to Kelanne Stud

DEWHURST Stakes winner Milk It Mick has returned to Britain after two years spent at the Haras de la Foret in France.

The 11-year-old son of Millkom will stand at Bill Smith's Kelanne Stud in Hampshire next year.

Milk It Mick began his stallion career with two years at Lone Oak Stud and then one year at Hedgeholme Stud.

His first crop are three-year-olds and they include the winners Cheworee, Man Of My Word and Threes Grand.

MIlk It Mick was trained by Jamie Osborne for owner-breeders Paul and Yvette Dixon to win five races at two, including the Dewhurst, in which he beat Three Valleys and Haafhd.

At five he was transferred to be trained by Jim Cassidy in California and he doubled his Grade 1 tally stateside with victory in the Frank E Kilroe Mile Handicap at Santa Anita.

Milk It Mick is out of the winning Komaite mare Lunar Music.
