New shuttle destination for Captain Gerrard

MICKLEY Stud stallion Captain Gerrard, who shuttled to Lindsay Park Stud in South Australia for the 2010 Australian season, will shuttle to Wyndholm Park Stud in Victoria for 2011.

The decision was made as Wyndolm Park has invested in the son of Oasis Dream, and all of the Australian shareholders are based in Victoria.

Captain Gerrard was a tough and high-class two-year-old, winning the Roses, Rosebery and Cornwallis Stakes.

At three the Bryan Smart-trained horse beat Sakhee's Secret to land the Group 3 Palace House Stakes.

He stands for £3,500 at Mickley this year.
