Red Badge among Tattersalls July entries

GROUP 3 winner Red Badgeis among 752 horses catalogued for the Tattersalls July Sale from July 6 to 8, which comprises mares, foals at foot, yearlings, horses in and out of training and untried lots.

Last year's renewal, which saw 816 horses entered over four days, was topped by Michael Jarvis's winning handicapper Business As Usual, who set a sale record when sold to Kern Lillingston for 460,000gns.

Among the largest drafts are those from Hamdan Al Maktoum's Shadwell operation with 84 lots, Darley (34), Juddmonte (50) and Mark Johnston (30).

The catalogue includes mares with covers by top sires such as Danehill Dancer, Iffraaj, Pivotal and Royal Applause, as well as 2011 retirees Alfred Nobel, Equiano, Gloria De Campeao, Hellvelyn, Makfi, Paco Boy, Showcasing, Starspangledbanner, Vale Of York and Zebedee.

The draft from Luca Cumani's Bedford House Stables includes Breeders' Cup Marathon winner Man Of Iron, while Richard Hannon consigns his Group 3 Select Stakes winner Red Badge and two-year-old winner Wolfgang.

Among those on offer from Jim Bolger's Glebe House Stables are this season's juvenile winner Snowflake Dancer.
