Majorien transferred to Haras de Grandcamp

GROUP 2 winner Majorien will has been transferred from Haras de Lonray to Haras de Grandcamp for the 2010 season. The 16-year-old son of Machiavellian,  will stand for €2,200.

From six crops of racing age, Majorien has proven to be an effective sire under both codes, siring the Listed-placed Major Grace and Green Tango on the Flat and the Grade 1-placed La Trattoria over jumps.

Majorien's most notable win came in the Group 2 Prix Conseil du Paris although the Maktoum al Maktoum-owned colt also ran second in the Group 1 Grand Criterium and Grade 1 Charles Whittingham Handicap.

Majorien will stand alongside Chichi Creasy, Linda's Lad, Sunday Break, Ultimately Lucky and Vangelis at Haras de Grandcamp.
