Henrythenavigator to enter stud at $65,000

DUAL 2,000 Guineas winner Henrythenavigator will enter stud at Ashford Stud in Kentucky next year at a fee of $65,000. An outstanding book of mares, including Rags To Riches and Peeping Fawn, is already being complied for the son of Kingmambo, who signed off his career with a gallant runner-up effort to Raven's Pass in the Breeders' Cup Classic.

Fellow Ashford newcomer, Grade 1-winning juvenile Majestic Warrior, will commence stud duties at $20,000.

Giant's Causeway remains unchanged at $125,000 as does exciting first season sire Lion Heart, who will stand his second consecutive season at $20,000, and Powerscourt at $7,500.

Suffering a severe reduction in fee is Johannesburg, who has been slashed from $65,000 to $35,000 while Fusaichi Pegasus's fee has been reduced from $45,000 to $30,000.

Others to have had their fees lowered are Dehere ($17,500 to $15,000), Grand Slam ($35,000 to $25,000), Scat Daddy ($30,000 to $22,500), Tale Of The Cat ($37,500 to $30,000), Thunder Gulch ($20,000 to $15,000) and Van Nistelrooy ($25,000 to $15,000).
