Lycetts continue support of National Stud lectures

FOR the second consecutive year, the National Stud's evening lecture programme will be sponsored by the insurance broker Lycetts.

The lectures, which will run from February 10 to June 26 at the British Racing School and National Stud, are open to students of the National Stud diploma syllabus, stud staff and members of the public. Topics covered include stud management, equine behaviour and veterinary management.

"We are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of the National Stud's lecture programme and supporting another intake of delegates," said Charles Hamilton, managing director of Lycetts. "Last year's programme was very well attended, with representatives from most of the leading stud farms in Newmarket."

Tabbi Smith, training director at the National Stud, added: "Whilst the lecture programmed is framed around the needs of the diploma course students, it covers a very broad range of practial and topical issues and will be relevant for anyone who has an interest in Thoroughbred breeding."
