Luck and Hockenhull join TBA NH Committee

THE TBA National Hunt Committee has received a boost with the news that Nick Luck and Peter Hockenhull are set to join the group, which seeks to maintain a strong jumps industry in Britain.

Hockenhull is a prominent figure within industry circles as the manager of his family's Shade Oak Stud in Shropshire, which stands six stallions including Alflora, Fair Mix and Black Sam Bellamy.

TV broadcaster Luck is well known through his role as part of the Channel 4 Racing and Racing UK teams.

The TBA also confirmed the jumps races that the organisation is supporting up to the end of 2012:

Wednesday October 10 - TBA Mares Only Novice Hurdle race at Towcester

Thursday October 25 - TBA Mares Only Novice Hurdle Race at Ludlow

Tuesday November 13 - TBA Mares Only NH Flat Race at Lingfield Park

Thursday November 22 - EBF/TBA Mares' Novices' Chase Series at Wincanton

Thursday November 29 - TBA Mares Only Novices' Hurdle at Uttoxeter

Saturday December 1 - Mares' Listed Novice Hurdle Race at Newbury

Thursday December 13 - EBF/TBA Mares' Novices' Chase Series at Huntingdon

Thursday December 20 - EBF/TBA Mares' Novices' Chase Series at Exeter

Sunday December 30 - TBA Fillies Maiden Hurdle at Doncaster

The TBA also confirmed that a selection of British-based National Hunt stallions will once again be parading at Cheltenham racecourse on Friday November 16.

Access to the Cheltenham Breeders' Club is also again available to TBA members for the 2012-2013 jumps season. Subscription costs £150 and entitles members to two badges, a car park label and use of a Club marquee at Cheltenham on November 17, March 12 and April 18.
