Burano: Listed winner has been added to the Tattersalls Guineas Horses in Training Sale

Listed winner Burano added to Tatts Guineas

BURANO, winner of the Listed Meydan Classic for Brian Meehan in February, heads a team of Wild Card entries for the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-up and Horses in Training sale on May 3 - 4.

Burano has won or been placed in half of his eight starts. By Dalakahani, the three-year-old colt is out of the Lake Coniston mare Kalimanta and from the Aga Khan family of multiple Group 1 winner Kalanisi.

 

Tattersalls have also accepted four additional entries for the breeze-up sale led by an Acclamation colt out of Cherry Hinton Stakes winner Applaud and thus a half-brother to Listed winner Jazz Jam.

Malcolm Bastard will present a Footstepsinthesand colt out of Milwaukee, a stakes-placed half-sister to Grade 1 winner Amorama, while Katie Walsh,consignor of 2,000 Guineas contender Caspar Netscher at last year's Tattersalls Craven Breeze-up, sends through a Kheleyf half-brother to four winners.

Completing the quartet is a Pivotal colt out of Dance A Daydream from the top-class Cheveley Park family of Entrepreneur from Eddie O'Leary's Lynn Lodge Stud.

Wild Card entries are still being taken for the Tattersalls Guineas Breeze-up and Horses in Training Sale. The breeze will take place at 9am on the Rowley Mile Racecourse on Thursday May 3, with selling set to start at noon on Friday May 4.
