Blame sister a head second on racing debut
MIGHT, the three-year-old sister to lastseason's Breeders' Cup Classic winner Blame, finished runner-up on her career debut in a 6f maiden at Fair Grounds on Sunday.
The three-year-old daughter of Arch, trained like her brother by Al Stall on behalf of Adele Dilschneider and Claiborne Farm, finished a head second to Nakano.
A daughter of First Samurai from the family of Carson City, Nakano was purchased for $230,000 at last year’s Fasig-Tipton Calder two-year-olds in training sale.
Blame retired to stand at his birthplace, Claiborne Farm in Kentucky, as the winner of nine races led by a memorable head victory over Zenyatta in the Breeders' Cup Classic.
The pair are out of the Seeking The Gold mare Liable,a stakes-placed half-sister to Group 1 winner and Lanwades resident Archipenko from the family of Nureyev and Sadler's Wells.
