Superior Premium moves to Bridge House Stud

CORK and Orrery Stakes winner Superior Premium is standing his first season in Ireland this year, at Bridge House Stud in County Westmeath.

Superior Premium was a high-class and durable sprinter for trainer Richard Fahey, winning 11 races with his finest hour coming in the Cork and Orrery (now Golden Jubilee Stakes), in which he beat Sampower Star and Lend A Hand.

The son of Forzando was originally retired to Throckmorton Court Stud in Worcestershire and later stood at Manor Farm Stud near Marlborough.

Superior Premium's best offspring is Baby Strange, whose seven career wins include the Listed Rockingham Stakes and have contributed to his £118,000 in earnings.

Superior Premium will be on show at Bridge House Stud's stallion viewing weekend on Friday 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 March.

Further details are available at the Bridge House Stud website.

Superior Premium will be shown alongside Derby third Let The Lion Roar and Sirillio, a son of Dashing Blade who covers mainly half-breds.

All Bridge House Stud stallions stand at a fee of €500.
