Lady Vettori set to visit Frankel in the new year

GESTUT Ammerland's star mares Lady Vettori and Grey Lilas are set to visit Frankel and his sire Galileo next year.

Both the dams of dual Classic winners, Lady Vettori has produced Group 3 winner Bal De La Rose as well as 2010 Poule d'Essai des Poulains and Prix du Jockey Club victor Lope De Vega, whose first foals have been well received in the sales ring.

Grey Lilas took the Prix du Moulin for Ammerland having been bought by Crispin de Moubray as a yearling. Her second foal is last year's Poule d'Essai des Pouliches and Prix de Diane winner Golden Lilac, who landed the Prix d'Ispahan this season for Andre Fabre.

Golden Lilac is one of around a dozen mares that Ammerland owner Dietrich von Boetticher will be sending to Lope de Vega at Ballylinch Stud in his third season.

Boetticher also intends to support Hurricane Run, who left Coolmore  for Ammerland this year, with around 15 mares from his band of around 45.

This year's one-time Oaks prospect and Group 3 winner Waldlerche has also been retired and is another set to go to Galileo.
