Daughter of Queen's Logic wins at Ascot

LADY OF The Desert won the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot on Saturday.
It was a first stakes race victory for the filly who is by Rahy and out of the Group 1 winner Queen's Logic. She is the fourth foal out of the Grand Lodge half-sister to Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Dylan Thomas and is her first stakes winner.
Queen's Logic was unbeaten in four starts as a two-year-old taking the Cheveley Park Stakes by seven lengths, and winning the Lowther Stakes at York and Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. She was a hot fancy for the 1,000 Guineas until injury intervened.
Her daughter, who is trained by Brian Meehan, was given a quote of 20-1 for the same Classic immediately after winning on Saturday.
