Daughter of Queen's Logic scores on debut

LADY OF The Desert, the fourth foal out of the brilliant Queen's Logic, opened her career in impressive style on Tuesday when swooping late to take the 5f maiden at Leicester from Tomintoul Singer.

Thedaughter of Rahy is trained by Brian Meehan and carries the colours of Jaber Abdullah. She was bred by Rabbah Bloodstock.

Queen's Logic was an outstanding two-year-old for trainer Mick Channon, taking each of her four starts as a two-year-old including the Cheveley Park Stakes by seven lengths, the Lowther Stakes at York and Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Those victories, as well as an authoritative win in the Fred Darling Stakes on her three-year-old debut, made her a warm order for the 1,000 Guineas but unfortunately injury prevented her from racing again.

Lady Of The Desert is the third winner out of the daughter of Grand Lodge following the Machiavellian colt Go On Be A Tiger, who was retained for 925,000gns as a yearling, and the highly regarded Dunes Queen, a daughter of Elusive Quality.

Queen's Logic, who is a half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Dylan Thomas, has a yearling colt by Kingmambo.
