Another Barbaro brother born in Kentucky

LA VILLE ROUGE, the dam of the ill-fated 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro, has produced the third full-brother to the popular horse.

The new arrival, a colt by Dynaformer weighing 142lbs, was born at Mill Ridge Farm near Lexington, Kentucky, on Tuesday.

His older brothers are the three-year-old Nicanor, who finished second in a maiden race at Gulfstream Park on Saturday, and the two-year-old Lentenor, who is in training at Stephens Thoroughbreds in Ocala, Florida.

Barbaro and his brothers were all bred by Roy and Gretchen Jackson's Lael Stables. The horses' dam, La Ville Rouge, is a 13-year-old daughter of Carson City, and is booked to be covered by Dynaformer again this season.
