Calming Influence to stand in Slovakia

CALMING INFLUENCE, a son of King's Best and Meydan Group 2 winner last year, has been sold to stand in Slovakia. The six-year-old fetched €240,000 at the Goffs Million sale as a yearling, and had been catalogued for the Tattersalls February sale.

In a career spanning 15 races, Calming Influence won five times including the Listed King Charles II Stakes at Newmarket, winning over distances from 6f to 1m aged from two to five. He was initially trained by Saeed Bin Suroor, but was transferred to the stable of Mahmood Al Zarooni last year.

Calming Influence is a half-brother to Canadian Grade 2-winning sprinter Steel Light, and is from the same family as Refuse To Bend and Media Puzzle. He will stand at Kobylany Stud.
