King's Apostle: the son of King's Best will stand alongside Jay Peg

King's Apostle to stand at Klawervlei Stud

A LOCATION for last season's Prix Maurice de Gheest hero King's Apostle to begin stud duties has been determined.

The son of King's Best, who the Racing Post revealed last monthwould enter stud in South Africa, will stand alongside eight stallions including Dubai Duty Free winner Jay Peg at Klawervlei Stud near Bonnievale in the Western Cape.

A fee for King's Apostle, whose second career is managed by John Freeman of Freeman Stallions, has yet to be confirmed.

Freeman also manages the stud careers of Count Dubois and Dupont on behalf of King's Apostle's owner Bernard Kantor.
