First foals for Lanwades sire Archipenko

LANWADES STUD stallion Archipenko has had his first foals, a colt and a filly, in Newmarket. Firstly, at Rosyground Stud, a chestnut or grey colt out of the Listed-placed mare Si Belle.

The filly was foaled at Lanwades and is the first foal of the Sadler's Wells mare Kesara, a dual winner in France over 7f and 1m.

A son of Kingmambo, Archipenko won the Group 2 Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown and also took the Group 1 QEII Cup in Hong Kong. He stands at £6,000 this year, having covered for £8,000 in 2010.
